Explore Braunton - The Most Biodiverse Parish in England

Kingsacre School Page

Presented here is the work of Kingsacre School - who have put much time and effort into designing a heritage trail around Braunton.  The children have identified places around the village, which are of interest to them and which they believe will be of interest to others.  The locations of each place can be seen on the interactive map, but more in-depth details can be found below.

The children took their own photographs of the places of interest and, although small versions are included below, full-sized images are included in the Village Life category of the Gallery.

The children also made models of each location and photos of some of these models are included below.

Thank you Kingsacre!

Dear Explore Braunton,

We are writing to thank you for giving up your time to help us with our Braunton topic.  We had a great time on the Great Field with the Explorers. It was really interesting watching the clips, especially the one about potatoes. The information that you gave us was really appreciated by everyone.

Our class thinks the website looks phenomenal! We really liked the way you put our own writing and photos on there. We didn’t expect to have our own webpage and were really surprised to see our work looking so professional. We’re getting our science, art, geography, PE and music work ready to send you next week………. only joking, ha-ha!!

Thanks again for all your hard work,

Yours sincerely,

Class 4
